if my memory serves me right, this year, i have watched a total of five movies.  that's a far cry from last year's total.  i mean, that's just the total number of movies i have seen from the period of april to may last year!  even though this year's summer movies are the ones worth anticipating (shrek 3, fantastic four:  rise of the silver surfer, pirates of the caribbean:  at world's end, 28 weeks later, spiderman 3, die hard 4.0, and the one i'm really looking forward to watching, transformers), they're i think fewer than what was offered last year.  or maybe these films i mentioned open several weeks apart.  but in any case, i just wished i could've broken the streak of watching movies in succession for five straight weeks last year.  one thing's for sure though:  in a couple of months, pirated dvd manufacturers will be making a killing, as if they're not making one everyday…
